In an effort to increase savings and reduce their carbon footprint, schools throughout the Abington School District have been going green.
“The less fossil fuel used, the better the environment,” said Director of Facilities Steve Saile.
Saile said the district has done a variety of different things to guarantee energy savings since 2008, citing significant savings in water, heating and fossil fuel use.http://www.montgomerynews.com/articles/2011/03/15/glenside_news_globe_times_chronicle/news/doc4d7a870f631e3148546448.txt
