Save Full-Day K and sign up for Early Childhood Education Action Day, April 12th

Education Voters

In Governor’s Corbett’s proposed budget, he eliminates the Accountability Block Grant, a state program that has supported full day Kindergarten for 62,000 students and Pre-K for 3,500 students. Early education is critical in a child’s education, enabling them to be better prepared academically and helping to close the achievement gap.  Pre-K and Full day Kindergarten also enable parents to work and reduces employee absenteeism.
