Education Chairs & Senate Republicans to Unveil Mandate Relief Package

HARRISBURG – Senator Jeff Piccola (R-15), Chairman of the Senate Education Committee, and members from the Senate Republican Caucus will be unveiling a legislative bill package on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the media center of the State Capitol Building to assist the state's school districts with the costly mandates imposed on them through the Pennsylvania Public School Code.  Senator Andy Dinniman, Democratic Chairman of the Education Committee, will also be participating in the event.
