Where to watch today’s Corbett's budget address

The budget address can be viewed online at www.pcntv.com. PCN is a nonprofit, nonpartisan network.
The Pennsylvania Cable Network will carry Gov. Tom Corbett's budget address live at 11:30 a.m. today.
The address will be broadcast again at 6 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m.
Budget documents are expected to be posted online at www.pa.gov after the governor begins his remarks.

HARRISBURG -- Acting Education Secretary Ron Tomalis told senators Monday that the state's public school students will have a little more time before they must face the Keystone Exams.  Mr. Tomalis cited the state budget deficit, as well as problems with some districts not covering material on those tests, as reasons implementation of the end-of-course exams will be slower than scheduled.

Dinniman's deal advances school voucher bill

A bill implementing a school voucher system in Pennsylvania is headed to the floor of the state Senate with support from a Democratic state senator from Chester County who said he may not vote for the final bill without changes.  State Sen. Andy Dinniman, D-19th, of West Whiteland, minority chairman of the Senate education committee, said he voted to move the bill out of committee in exchange for a promise from the chairman that five amendments he offered for the bill would get a full hearing.
